Ellen Ursula Schryver was born on April 10 1848.  She was the second child and first daughter of  William Latham Schryver and Adelia M. Newton Schryver.   She died in 1935 and is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo.

James Stewart hailed from Buffalo, New York.  He was born in 1842 and died in 1905.  He is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo.

Note:  The Burch book shows the spelling to be Stuart.  We have been in contact with descendents of this family and the above spelling is correct.

They were married on September 6, 1876 in Omar, Jefferson County, New York.  There is some confusion as to their children.  The Burch book and descendents of the Stewart family both show three (3) but some of the names are different.  We are currently researching this.
